How do I know what my CCS entitlements are and how can I calculate what my out-of-pocket fee will be?

Your Child Care Subsidy (CCS) entitlement is determined by Services Australia based on factors such as your family income, activity level, and the number of children attending care. You can view your current CCS percentage and eligible hours through your myGov account linked to Medicare.

To estimate your out-of-pocket fees, multiply your service’s daily fee by your CCS percentage (up to the applicable hourly rate cap) and subtract the subsidy amount from the total fee. As individual circumstances vary, the most accurate estimate can be obtained through your myGov account or the CCS Calculator available on the Services Australia website.

If you have any questions, you are always welcome to visit Little Lambs Early Education Doncaster and speak with our friendly management team.

Yes. We work closely with all families during the enrolment process to understand each child’s dietary requirements, allergies, anaphylaxis management plans, and food preferences.

As our meals are freshly prepared on site, our talented cook is able to prepare meals tailored to your child’s individual dietary needs.

Families are also welcome to provide their child’s meals if preferred. We kindly ask that no food containing nuts or nut products is brought into the service to help keep all children safe.

Every family is different, so there is no single “right” age to begin early childhood education and care.

At Little Lambs Early Education Doncaster, we welcome children from as young as six weeks through to six years of age. We understand that starting care is a significant milestone for both children and families, so we place great importance on building warm, secure, and trusting relationships from the very beginning.

Our educators take the time to develop strong attachments with each child, helping them feel safe, confident, and supported as they settle into their new environment.

With age-appropriate learning environments and experienced educators across each classroom, we provide nurturing care and engaging educational experiences that support every stage of your child’s development.

Learning begins long before children start primary school. At Little Lambs Early Education Doncaster, we support children’s learning journey from infancy, helping them develop confidence, independence, curiosity, and strong social and emotional skills throughout their early years.

As children move into their kindergarten years (three to five years of age), they continue building important literacy, numeracy, communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills through meaningful play and intentional teaching.

Our Victorian Government Funded Kindergarten Program combines the benefits of a high-quality kindergarten program with the convenience of long day care. This provides children with an excellent foundation for a successful transition to school while offering families the flexibility of extended care hours throughout the day.

Once enrolled, you will receive access to the OWNA family communication platform.

Through OWNA you can:

  • Access your child’s individual learning documentation
